Letter Safari is designed for children under the age of 13 (“Children”). We strictly adhere to:

• The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States.
• The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / GDPR-K) in the European Union and UK.
• Apple App Store Kids Category Guidelines and Google Play Families Policy.

We do not knowingly collect, store, sell, or disclose personal identifiable information (PII) from children.

To keep the learning environment safe and distraction-free:

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, or student IDs from children.
• No Voice or Audio Recording: While the App plays audio, voice sounds, and phonics pronunciation, it does not record, transmit, or store children’s voices.
• No Precise Geolocation: We do not request or track GPS or precise location data.
• No Third-Party Advertising: The App is 100% ad-free. We do not integrate third-party ad networks, tracking pixels, or behavioral retargeting.

To deliver gameplay and preserve your child’s learning milestones, Letter Safari saves progress data locally on your device (via secure local storage), including:

• Tracing completion status and practice stars.
• Unlocked stickers in the Sticker Album.
• Selected mascot preferences and daily practice streaks.
• Settings choices (audio volume toggles, selected script categories).

This data remains on your device and is never uploaded to our servers or sold to third parties.

Letter Safari offers an optional one-time purchase (“Letter Safari Lifetime Pro”) to unlock all games and curricula:

• All transactions are processed directly by the Apple App Store (Apple Inc.) or Google Play Store (Google LLC).
• We never receive, process, or store your credit card details or billing address.
• We utilize industry-standard, child-safe in-app purchase validation (such as RevenueCat) strictly to verify receipt validity and unlock purchased content. No personal profile is built or shared.
• Access to store screens and purchases is protected behind a Parental Gate to prevent accidental child purchases.

To ensure stability, bug fixes, and optimal performance across different phone and tablet models, we may receive aggregated, non-personally identifiable diagnostic information provided by Apple App Store Connect or Google Play Console (such as device model, OS version, crash logs, and general country-level aggregate download counts). This information cannot be used to identify any individual child or family.

The App contains no outgoing external links within child-accessible areas. Any external links (such as support emails or store review links) are restricted to the settings or parent section behind a Parental Gate.

Parents and legal guardians have full control over their children’s information:

• Because all progress data is stored locally, deleting the App from your device will permanently erase all local game data.
• Parents can contact us at any time with questions about our privacy practices, or to request clarification.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” We encourage parents to review this page periodically.
